Summer Reading 2021

Teens are encouraged to participate in our library's Summer Reading Program! Those who read 50 days this summer will earn a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card. They can register to participate here.

Tell Your Tale Writing Contest

We are having a writing contest for teens and adults! The prize will be a gift card to the business of your choice. Entries are due by August 9th, 2021.

Prompt:
What if your life was a book? Would you be the main character, or would you be the villain? Tell the world about a time where a furry friend (does not have to be a furry animal) changed your life. Make your experience a story for all to read.
Write about a time that an animal had a significant impact on your life. You could make it a fictional story, or you could keep it as real as you would like. Your story must not exceed 3,000 words but have a minimum of at least 500 words.
