MacDonald Public Library is happy to serve the parents and teachers of our community. Some of the services we provide include:
Themed booksets and displays
We can pull books for you on a specific topic your child or class is learning about. These books can be held for you to pick up at your convenience. Featured displays in our children's area make it easy for you to pick out a book when you visit the library.
Our current picture book display features books on boating and water in honor Boating Safety Week! The next book display will be up from June-August and focus on friendship and kindness in honor of our summer theme, "All Together Now".
Booktalking visits
Ms. Kelly will come to talk to your classroom or homeschool group about recommended books in the library's collection. These short 15 minute visits can be scheduled by emailing kelly@macdonaldlibrary.org.
Library tours
Bring your class to visit the library! We can tailor presentations and activities to support whatever your class is learning about in school.
Research help
We'd be happy to show students some of our digital resources they can access from home!
All these can be scheduled at your convenience by emailing our Youth Librarian, Kelly Marra.
