MacDonald Public Library Summer Used Book Sale on July 23 & 24

(NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - July 15, 2021) Summertime is upon us and with it comes the Friends of the MacDonald Public Library’s Annual Summer Used Book Sale! Come to the library on July 23 & 24 for your chance at deals on books, movies, and other materials for sale.

Running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Summer Used Book Sale is one of the fundraisers the Friends of the MacDonald Public Library host. These funds are used towards library programs and other initiatives the Friends sponsor.

“Our Friends here at MacDonald Public Library work hard for our library and their dedication is ever appreciated,” says Library Director Jessica Parij. “I hope you will join us for their Summer Used Book Sale and find something special to take home.”

Items for sale include donated materials and gently used library items. Donations are still being accepted for the Summer Used Book Sale.

“There has been a lot of books & DVDs being added to the Friends sale recently,” says Community Engagement Librarian DJ Bond. “Our Friends Room filled up and we’ve had to start storing materials for the sale in other places. There’s so much that will be available in the sale!”

Those interested in joining the Friends of MacDonald Public Library are welcome to contact the library for information at 586-725-0273.

Parking in the main lot may be limited based on availability. Items for sale are first come first serve based on availability.
